PLANNED AND REACTIVE MAINTENANCE
Storm provides a programme of Planned and Reactive Maintenance to all our clients. Planned Maintenance is all the work that is planned at the beginning of the year, to be implemented during the next twelve months, or longer, depending on the length of contract. Other planned projects can be larger undertakings of work that are most important in terms of security and safety of the building and personnel.
Planned maintenance projects can include:-
Plumbing and Heating system renewals,
Internal and External redecoration,
Electrical testing and rewiring,
Large scale window and door renewals,
Roofing renewals, etc.
Fire alarm testing and maintenance,
Emergency lighting testing and maintenance,
Air-conditioning installation and maintenance,
On-site facilities teams,
On-site cleaning personnel,
Planned projects are generally less urgent than other reactive maintenance issues which means that Storm and the client can carefully assess which works are required and the best method in which to implement the works, helping the client to receive a minimally disruptive, efficient programme for maximum value for money. These programmes require the knowledge and skills of Storm specialists, who ensure that any concerns of the client can be put at ease by their years of experience and expertise.
Reactive Maintenance is the day-to-day work that is required for emergencies and equipment failure. Our call-out team work swiftly and effectively to ensure that your workplace can continue to function safely with minimal disruption, in face of any unpredicted failures and faults. This type of work can range from small repairs and leaks to larger problems such as reacting to flooding or vandalism.
